There is something incredibly special about documenting pregnancy in the place where you feel most at home, your own space.

This beautiful North London maternity session took place on a weekday afternoon, with soft natural light streaming through the windows and a really relaxed atmosphere. Rather than hiring a studio, we used the couple's own home as the backdrop, capturing authentic moments together in the places that already meant so much to them. Their cosy kitchen quickly became one of my favourite locations, their eye for interior styling was perfect!

Nicole was so easy to work with and gave so much energy to the shoot, she said she felt so confident which was great to hear.

Your home becomes part of the story. The nursery you're preparing, the sofa where you spend evenings watching your favourite tv show, the kitchen where you cook evening meals, your familiar spaces help create photographs that feel extra meaningful and cosy.

Many parents choose an at-home session because it feels more candid. I'll give you direction, and offer some ideas, so you don't need to worry about knowing what to do in front of the camera.

A relaxed session in your own space, using natural light and a documentary approach. I’ll guide you when needed and give suggestions, we’ll create images that feel true to you, with a mix of lightly posed portraits and natural in-between moments.
