I'm Laura, a London maternity and portrait photographer creating soft, artistic pregnancy portraits that celebrate the beauty and transformation of pregnancy. I photograph in a gentle, guided way, giving space for you to feel comfortable and seen.

I began offering maternity sessions after both of my sisters fell pregnant at the same time. Becoming an aunty, and watching them move through that transformational time, inspired me to bring it into my own practice. I've always been drawn to feminine energy, and I've been photographing women for years, so maternity felt like a natural next step.

My sessions are designed for women who want images that feel personal and timeless. My at-home sessions focus more on the cosy, intimate, day-to-day aspects of your pregnancy, and the studio sessions are more polished and focus on just you and your beautiful bump (or you and your partner).

All of the sessions I have photographed so far really fill my heart with so much joy - it is a real privilege to capture this time for women and couples.

Frequently Asked Questions

The sweet spot is usually 28–34 weeks. You’re showing beautifully, and (most of the time) still comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the session.
That's really normal, and I’ll help by guiding you with gentle direction the whole time - poses, hands, where to look, how to move - so that it feels natural, not performative.
Yes. We can include partner and/or children for part of the session, then capture some solo portraits too.
Yes, I edit with a natural, flattering approach (light/colour consistency, gentle skin retouching, distracting temporary blemishes). We can discuss if you’d like extra retouches.
Your gallery is delivered within 2 weeks of your session. If you've added the film option, allow up to 3 weeks to account for developing and scanning
Travel within London is included. Outside this, a small travel fee may apply.
A deposit of 30% secures your date, with the remaining balance due before the day of your session.

A simple, artful studio session with clean backdrops and carefully shaped light. It’s a bit more editorial and pose-led, so you’ll receive a smaller set of finished images than the at-home session - with more time spent refining each frame into flattering, timeless portraits that celebrate this moment. Studio hire is included in the price.

STUDIO

A relaxed session in your own space, using natural light and a gentle, documentary approach. I’ll guide you when needed and give suggestions, we’ll create images that feel true to you, with a mix of lightly posed portraits and natural in-between moments.

ADD ON: FILM

Porta 400 roll

/ up to 12-18 frames

Film add-on available for maternity sessions, shot on Kodak Portra 400, developed and scanned, delivered alongside your digital images. A softer and more textured quality giving a more tactile and vintage feel to your images.
